In Spa protocols and procedures

For the safety of our customers and team

We have always taken sanitation and safety very seriously but due to Covid-19 we have increased and altered 

some of our measures in spa to keep us all as safe as possible.

Please take the time to fully read our commitment to keep the spa a relaxing and safe place to be.


PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ATTENDING YOUR SPA APPOINTMENT


CONSULTATION

All customers as standard protocol must complete a consultation in spa

We do this via a secure app which is attached to your name and telephone number. 

Due to the pandemic we will now complete a Covid consultation in spa which is compulsory for all customers


NHS TRACK & TRACE

We have the QR code poster displayed prior to entering the spa you may scan this if you have the app.

 However we do also keep full records of all who enter the spa including names and telephone numbers.


HEALTH

CUSTOMERS

If you have displayed any of the symptoms associated with Coronavirus you must reschedule your appointment for a minimum of 14 days.

You must also inform us if you or anyone in your household or social circle have displayed or contracted Coronavirus during this pandemic.

If you do contract Coronavirus and you have visited the spa you must let us know so that any one who has been in that day can be informed by either our self or NHS track and trace

TEAM

The team are all aware that they must not come to work if they or anyone they have come into contact with have contracted or are displaying any signs and symptoms

We are committed to keeping the spa a germ free zone


APPOINTMENTS

We are changing our appointment system so that we stagger entry and exit times

For the foreseeable future we will work on 10 minute time frame between appointments

Example 9.45am 9.55am

We ask that you do your very best to arrive on time as this will help us greatly in spa


SOCIAL DISTANCING

Whilst it's impossible in our environment to fully social distance we have put measures in place to limit the number of people

 we will all come into contact with,

These include

Reduced therapists on any one shift

One designated person to be on reception

Staggered appointment times

Each therapist will work in her own room where possible

Our twin treatment room will only be available for one customer one therapist

Our triple treatment room will be available for two customers and two therapists

(by keeping our middle bed free we can safely social distance more than 2 metres)

Unfortunately we are unable to offer a waiting area or any hot drinks. This is so we can fully adhere to 

social distancing plus reducing the amount of people we all come into contact with during your visit.

We ask that you attend your appointment alone

(Exceptions will be made for those who require assistance by means of a carer)

PPE

CUSTOMERS

Must wear a face covering as soon as they enter the hotel building

THERAPIST 

Must wear a facial covering 

All therapist also have access to and must wear if treatment is deemed necessary

Aprons

 Medical grade face mask

 Face shield

Disposable gloves

SPA ENVIRONMENT

HAND WASHING AND SANITISING IS ESSENTIAL FOR CUSTOMERS AND STAFF

Each room has a sink for hand washing

Disposable facial cushion covers

Disposable couch towels

Disposable paper towels for hand drying

Contactless hand sanitiser before entry

Each room is also equipped with disinfectant and disinfectant wipes

CUSTOMER PROTECTION

We ask that you bring minimal items into the spa and that all items are kept in one bag 

No phones or loose items can be left on sides in the spa

Please do not wear jewellery that needs to be removed for treatment

A face mask may need to be worn during your treatment please bring a medical grade mask with you

(you may purchase one from us for £1 this covers the cost of your mask only)

We ask you attend your appointment alone, exceptions made for those who require assistance


HAND CLEANSING

 Hand sanitiser is made available to all customers before entering the spa, we ask that you use this before you come in to us.

We have sinks in every room and do request that you wash your hands before and after your treatment

 All therapists wash their hands or sanitize before and after treatment as standard procedure


SPA CLEANING

The spa has always been a clean and sanitised environment in line with all government recommendations and guidelines

Here is how we maintain cleanliness 

All sides are disinfected between customers

All beds are changed between customers

Door handles are disinfected between customers

Communal areas are cleaned regularly throughout the day

UPGRADED CLEANLINESS

Floors in the treatment room will be wiped between customers

Toilets and changing rooms will be wiped hourly

We will provide disinfectant wipes for you to use in the toilet

We will provide wipes for you to disinfect the hair dryer and straighteners before and after use

Our commitment to you is to keep the spa a safe and relaxing place to be


RECEPTION SERVICES

We aim to have only one person on reception throughout the day, however there will be days when bookings, messages and emails will be done remotely to keep staff levels to a minimum to help protect us all.

In the absence of a reception service your therapist can make bookings and take payment.

This means you will only come into contact with one member of staff during your visit.

Retail products can still be purchased, please feel confident that all products have been disinfected prior to going into our retail cabinet.

 The receptionist will also sanitise prior to selecting your item/product


PAYMENT

It is advisable during this time that payment is made before arrival via bank transfer

 However please ensure that if you are paying in spa that you have either the exact monetary amount or debit/credit card.


WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND ADAPT OUR PROCEDURES IN LINE WITH AND TO EXCEED GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES
